The David Fehr Tournament is taking place June 14-15, 2025 at the Calgary Soccer Centre.
This event marks the season wrap-up for all U7 and U9 teams in the Calgary District Lacrosse Association (CDLA). It’s a weekend dedicated to fun, teamwork, and great sportsmanship—a true celebration of our young athletes.
Each team will play two games per day, finishing off with a medal ceremony to recognize the effort and growth of every player throughout the season.

Who Was David Fehr?
David Fehr was a passionate advocate for youth sport and a firm believer in the power of athletics to shape character, build confidence, and contribute to lifelong success. His dedication to developing the game of lacrosse was instrumental in advancing the sport in Alberta.
In 2003, David founded the Okotoks Raiders Jr. A Lacrosse Club, helping put Alberta on the national lacrosse map. His vision and leadership elevated the game for countless young athletes across the province.
David’s coaching philosophy was simple yet powerful: “All skills to all players.” He believed that every athlete develops at their own pace, and a coach’s greatest achievement is helping each player reach their full potential.
